Boulder Mountain on the Aquarius Plateau in south-central Utah — the highest timbered plateau in North America, with vast aspen stands, Engelmann spruce and ponderosa below, and dozens of lakes on top. King boletes, chanterelles and hawk's wing after the late-summer monsoon; morels in the aspen after snowmelt. Dixie and Fishlake NFs.
