The Toiyabe Range near Austin and Kingston Canyon in central Nevada — one of Nevada's longest ranges, with singleleaf pinyon and juniper on the flanks, aspen and cottonwood in the canyons, and limber pine on the crest toward Arc Dome. Morels in aspen and burned pinyon after snowmelt; puffballs and Agaricus in the meadows after monsoon storms. Humboldt-Toiyabe NF.
